This tale of a naughty, naughty squirrel and his comeuppance at the claws and beak of old Mr. Brown, the owl, is a great cautionary tale for the rambunctious among us. It is very short, 15 minutes, so the narrative is compressed, and the story goes by rapidly. There are riddles to solve and then perhaps memorize, as well as a tiny amount of music. Gary Bond doesn't have a lot of time to show off his skills, but he makes the story almost as good as if we had Potter's wonderful illustrations in front of us. B.H.B.
